With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Herbert Holmes (Crescent City, California), born in Omak, Washington, who passed away on April 4, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynn; his daughters, Isabelle and Beth; his stepsons, Mark and Sebastian; his siblings, Larry and Kayla; his sister-in-law Esther; his grandchildren, Justine, Gloria, Tyler, Ayla and Louis; his great grandchildren, Elvina and Capucine; his parents, Les and Mildred; and his brother Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation.

“BrotherTom and I attended College Elementary School at Humboldt State in Arcata, California with him during 7th and 8th grade, also, Arcata High School class of 58. Later in life, I found out my daughter Molly, a nurse, worked with him at the hospital in Crescent City, California. Jim was always the kind of friend you would want to have. Knowing him was a blessing.”
