He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Cooper and Pearl Cooper (Garrison); his siblings, Omar Dale, Lamar, Margie Ann, Jimmy Curtis and Charles Clinton Cooper; his brother-in-law Bob Crump; his wives, Shirley Ann Dunham Cooper, Clara Jane Thuesen Cooper and Marshia Helene Loar Cooper; his children, David Franklin Cooper and Deborah "Debbie" Jean Cooper; and his granddaughter Jaime Lee Cooper.
He is survived by: his brother Joe (Barbara) of Depoe Bay; his daughter Linda Renee Kite (Richard Sr.); his grandchildren, Richard Lee Kite, Jr. and Cassandra "Cassie" Nicole Morales (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Autumn Morales and Colton Morales; his siblings, Gary (Linda) of Orting and Joyce Crump (Don) of McMinnville; and his sister-in-law Vicki Cooper. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
