He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William Evans and Mildred Evans; his former life partner Carol Friedrich; his children, Laurie Penrod and Donna Crozier; his former life partner Colleen Cornick; his stepchildren, Bill, Brad and Tami; and his spouse Ranae Graham.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1271 W Badillo St, Covina, CA 91722). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:15 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, March Air Reserve Base, CA 92518).
