With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chikara Chico Masai of Covina, California, born in Hanford, California, who passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenjiro and Hideko; and his siblings, Florence Nishi, Tommy and Pete Masai.
He is survived by: his wife Setsuko Masai; his children, Mark Masai (Heidi), Dawn Sera (Jon) and Kathy Irei (Michael); and his grandchildren, Riki Goetsch (Brandon), Ashley Mote (Jesse), Shayna Thompson, Kelly, Keith, Kayla Sera, Christopher and Kory Irei. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
