He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Steve Taylor of Costa Mesa, CA, Rod Taylor (Julie) of Henderson, NV and Mary Taylor of Sacramento, CA; and his stepchildren, Pam Porter Wagner (John), Bonnie Porter Bollinger (Dan), Cyndy Porter (Rick), Tina Porter Larkin (Dan) and Jason Coldiron (Lidia). He was also cherished by four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
