He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kokas, Jr. and Margaret Rumohr (Rumohr); his wife Bonnie Kokas (McArthur); and his brother Michael Kokas. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Kokas and Angela Kokas Johnson (Jason); his grandchildren, Jonathan Stephens, Zoie Dickens and Alexis Johnson; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by 7 loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Akes Family Funeral Home (9695 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503-3645). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Gary Sinise Foundation or a veterans/active duty troop organization of your choice to continue serving our troops and veterans in the way that Jim was so passionately doing after retiring from the us army.
