He is survived by: his wife Susan Schweitzer Garrett; his sons, David (Marcy) of Tustin and Joshua (Ngoc) of Costa Mesa; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jonathan, Benjamin of Tustin, June and Heath of Costa Mesa; and his sisters, Marjorie Veach (Bill) of Homosassa, Sally (Jack Sanders) and Carol (Peter Schilling). He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
