He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Freeman and Ruth Freeman; and his brothers, Vincent, John and Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Veronica Freeman of Chula Vista, CA; and his children, Constance Freeman of Santa Rosa, CA, Joseph Freeman and Ruth Mateo of Waipahu, HI. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild.

Despite thrice weekly dialysis and two bouts of COVID, Dennis remained strong, grateful, and positive until the very end.
