She was predeceased by: her father David Stukey; her sister Karlene Thorp; her grandparents, Jess, Vi Brooks, Vaughn and Myrtle Stukey; and her in-laws, Daniel and Lucy Cortez.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Cortez; her sons, Jesse, Jeremy Cortez and Comic-Con; her mother Rita Johnson; her stepmother Cindy Stukey; her aunts, Darlene Schelke (Bob) and Carol Bryant; and her cousins, Deanna Felt and Danielle Garland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
