A faithful follower of Christ, Bryant Boyd Bennett, of Bellflower California, passed away on July 27, 2021, while living with his son in Corona California. He was 93 years old & lived a great life. There are not enough words to do justice to this man who meant so much to so many. He had 8 children, 43 grandchildren & 89 great-grandchildren. He could name and tell you about each of his grandchildren. He always made sure we knew we were loved by him. He touched many lives. He is loved and missed so very much.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa May (Dale), his son Dana Bryant, and a grandson Dustin Douglas. We are thankful for the knowledge that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we will meet again. Bryant came down on this earth, partook of mortal life and a physical body, passed through a probation of mortality. He held many positions in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. The most notable being that of Patriarch. Someday we will meet again with him when he passes on to a higher exaltation through the resurrection which should be brought about through the atonement of The Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

“One of dad’s favorite musicals is Mary Poppins. The scene and musical number that captures perfectly one of my dad’s life rules is A Spoon Fool Full of Sugar. The first line of the song frames my dad’s philosophy – “In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. And snap! The jobs a game.” He would turn every chore into a game. Creating art with stacked dishes , king of the hill on the pile of grass, or picking the next item on the shelf at the grocery store. Life was fun.”
