It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Oatis Jr. (Corona del Mar, California), born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Oatis, Sr. and Ruth Niland Oatis; his former wife Elma Powell Oatis; his son Wayne Francis Oatis; and his sister Nancy Lou Kratky.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie of Roseville, CA; his children, George William III of Buckeye, AZ and Diana Winans of Orangevale, CA; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Oatis of Huntington Beach, CA. He is also survived by 4 step-daughters, 9 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.
