He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Ram Lal and Durga Bai; his spouse Shyamala; his children, Manju Lal of Newport Beach and Dr. Ashwini Lal of Pasadena; his brothers, Govind Lal (India) of Hyderabad and Dr. Roop Lal of Naperville; his son Ram Lal (Shyamala Lal); and his sister Padma Devi Gayhee. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation be made in memory of Dr. Dheeraj Lal to either Doctors Without Borders or Habitat for Humanity.
