He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Helsley and Veta Helsley; and his sister Alice Wheat (Helsley). He is survived by: his wife Lena Freitas of Lemoore; his sons, Donald Helsley of Corcoran and Jeffrey Helsley; his daughter-in-law Martha Chono-Helsley of Downey; and his grandchildren, Emily Helsley of Downey and Zachary Dean Helsley of San Jose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
