He was predeceased by: his parents, Santarita Barreto and Abel Barreto (Bella); his siblings, Exu Barreto (Tilda), Josephine Noronha (late Thomas), Egid Barreto (Dorothy) and Vicky Barreto; his parents-in-law, Arcanjo and Cyrilla D'souza; and his siblings-in-law, Janu D'souza (late Angela), Lazarus D'souza, Martin D'souza, Flavia D'souza and Alban D'souza.
He is survived by: his daughters, Candice, Vanesa and Jocelyn; his wife Maria; and his sisters, Lucy Soares (Reggie) and Maria Barreto.
