It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Hayward (Compton, California), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jonathan Williams. She is survived by: her parents, Samuel E. Smith and Helen Brown; her children, Michael Holmes of Atlanta, GA and Andrea Williams of Savannah, GA; her grandchildren, Steve Biggins of Savannah, Sharina Scott of Sydney, TaNeesh Williams (Johnny) of Snellville, GA, Mallorie Holmes of Atlanta and Tori Bishop (Daquan) of Hinesville, GA; and her siblings, Mary Rines (Lorenzo), Margaret Mikell of Savannah, Eddie Lomonte, Asbury Mikell of Savannah and Arthur Brown of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
