She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pettersen and Melpha Pettersen; her brother Pete; and her brother-in-law David. She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Christian (Laurie) of Newport News, VA and Karen Bunton (Heath) of Redding; her grandchildren, Caitlin Grinsell (Mike Taylor), Alexandra Grinsell (Nathan Deicher), Jonathan (Nicole Grinsell), Sophie Bunton and Millie Bunton (Gibson Bunton); her sisters-in-law, Heidi Pettersen, Yusie Grinsell and Diane Hardle (Dennis); her nieces and nephews, Annelise Glueck (Pettersen), Chantique Grinsell, Hans Pettersen and Andrew Grinsell; and her close friends, Ken and Linda Bareilles.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Humboldt, or the charity of choice.
