Arvester Newsom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2020, at the age of 87, Arvester Newsom in Compton, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandson Ronald Stines Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Arvester, Demetria Newsom Holloway (Girves) of Mableton, GA, Ronald Stines (Pamela) of Compton, CA and Johnnie Stines (Margie) of Compton, CA; his grandchildren, Girves A. Holloway, Jajuan Holloway, Venita Petty, Eboni Stines, Antonio Rucker, Michael Parks and Ken Parks; and his friend Jean Williams of Carson, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
With a spiritual foundation, he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at an early age and joined the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Byhalia, MS.
