He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Lee and Stella Mae Brown; his children, Arthur, Eddie, Olivia, Nate and Lily Mae; his siblings, Nate Brown and Olivia Brown; his son Andrew LaRosa Brown, Jr.; and his stepdaughters, Terri Johnson and DeAngela Johnson. He was also cherished by wife of 38 years, his children.
