He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Grant Dowden and Sandra Lee Garmon; and his sister Dawn "Cissy" Dowden. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Froid Dowden; his children, Taylor Dowden, Ireland Dowden, Addison Dowden and Bryson Dowden of North Carolina; and his stepchildren, Dylan Heidrick, Nicholas Heidrick, Thomas Heidrick, David Heidrick and Daniel Heidrick of Colusa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
