He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicoletta Sakas and Demetrios James "Jimmy" Sakas of Sparta, Greece.; his wife Jennie Sakas; his brother John; and also Stella.

He is survived by: his uncle Steve. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins and cherished friends.

One of the most generous men, Uncle Steve was always taking care of others, donating money to anyone in need, to family and strangers alike.
