He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Atkison and Earl Atkison. He is survived by: his wife Lorene Rau; his children, Mark (Patti), Katherine Bowman (Tony) and Tammy (Doug Taylor); his grandchildren, Alexander Mushegan, Ashley Hutchins, Kathryn Booth, Rachel Soo, Andrew, Matthew Austin, Grant Abbott, Krystal Nicassio and Ryan Abbott; and his great grandchildren, Charli, Remi Mushegan, Tatum Austin, Elijah Soo, Turner, Peter, Hudson, Valentina Abbott, Dustin, Brayden, Ashton Nicassio, Oliver, Olivia and Rylee Abbott.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farewell Funeral Service - Palm Bluffs (660 W Locust Ave, Fresno, CA 93650). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Clovis Cemetery (305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clovis Christian Center Church (3606 N Fowler Ave, Fresno, CA 93727).
