He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Bonnie Murphy Corum; his grandfather Murphy; his sisters, Margaret Ruth and Bonnie Ruth; and his sons, Larry, Bill, David, Daniel, James and Keith.

“My grandparents (Dreka) had a summer home across the street from where Roger was raised (Haw Creek). He and my sister Andrea, Gloria King, and others ran and played in the woods all summer. My sister and I came up from Florida. I now live in Waynesville, NC. So sorry to hear about Roger`s passing. God bless his family. Blanche Knox”
