He is survived by: his wife Norma Velasco; his children, Vanessa Leyson (John Nicholas Leyson), Aimee Manoto, Vachel Gay Paller (Victor) and Norman Velasco (Roces); his siblings, Jose Velasco Jr. (Teresita), Crescencia Taccad and Lolita Calip; and his grandchildren, Malaya Paller, Talna Paller, Micah Manoto, Caleb Velasco, Ron Joshua Velasco, Gid Renzo Manoto and Miguel Paller.
