He was predeceased by: his parents, Severo Ruiz and Constancia Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Quesada; his daughters, Lucy Ruiz (Bobby Salazar) and Laura Ruiz Bingham (Joel); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Bergstrom, Phoebe Bergstrom, Felicity Powell and Makenna Foy.
