He is survived by: his wife Elena D Pineda; his children, Jim Hernandez Jr., John B Pruitt, Mary Hernandez Jennings and Richard A Hernandez; and his grandson Joseph Gilbert Pineda. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandson.
