He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Garner and Homer Garner; his son Timothy Garner; and his siblings, Jack Edward Garner (EJ), James E. Garner and Nada Biggs.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Garner; his daughter Waunema Earheart; his children-in-law, Richard Earheart and Teresa Garner; his son Larry Garner; his sister Eva Garner Fries; his grandchildren, Duane Earheart, Robert Earheart, Jessica Garner and Justine Garner; and his great grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Ember, Apollo, Judah and Ophelia. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
