It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Berniece Lily Dettmer of Clovis, California, born in Fowler, California, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Vinyard and Cora Vinyard (Patton); her son Ralph Allen Dettmer Sr.; her close friend Walter Berg; and her sisters, Verna McIlwain, Opal Stine and Marjorie Stanley.

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Bitter; and her grandchildren, Mary Nelson (Anthony), Robin Neuhaus, Robert Bitter, Ralph Allen Dettmer Jr. (Kelly) and John Dettmer (Tracy). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.
