“Rick was was a childhood and life long friend of my late husband, Jerry Salyer. He was also kind to Jerry’s father, Arthur following Jerry’s passing in 2015 and visited him whenever he was in Westerville, Ohio going to or from San Diego, California. Rick was kind, funny, extraordinarily bright, he loved and appreciated his students, friends and family. I’m going to miss him and, seeing his latest pair of super cool tennis shoes!
