He is survived by: his wife Bernarda Matanga; and his children, Alma, Rino, Helen, Gemma and Daisy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his great grandchildren, as well as family and friends.

Our beloved sailor lost his battle with Parkinson's disease secondary to exposure to Agent Orange (Dioxin Herbicide) while serving during the Vietnam War.
