He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Sowers and Edna Sowers. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Trahin; and his children, Randy Sowers, Melinda Sowers, Star Renae Sowers, Perla Alabaster, Anna P. Cross and Laura K. Sowers. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista (753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery (11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills, CA 91345).
