He is survived by: his parents, Paquita Toledo and Miguel Vega; his wife Maria Vega; his children, James Vega Jr. (Ivette), Luis Enrique Esparza (Melisa), Alex Anthony Vega, Jason Vega, Samantha Vega (Armando Constancio), Maria Isabel Vega and Belinda Ann Vega; and his siblings, Mike Vega, Eli Concepcion, Anthony Concepcion, Billy Concepcion, Kenny Vega, Elba Vega, Madeline Vega and Shirley Contreras. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren.
