The memory of Elsje Vlot (Chowchilla, California), who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Boudewyn Jong and Helena De Jong; her siblings, Rina, Bill and Tom; her daughter Elly; her husband Dirk Vlot; her children, Lenie, Dirk, Trudie and Case; and her caregiver Chowchilla Hospital. She was also cherished by her four children, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, seventeen grandkids, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers and their wives.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name at Cornerstone Preschool, 208 Fig Tree Rd., Chowchilla, CA 93610, and Merced Rescue Mission, 644 W 20th St., Merced, CA 95340.
