He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Edward Arthur De Jager; his parents, Eddie Jager and Jacky De Jager; his sisters, Jill and Jane; his grandparents, Rocky, Sharlene De Jager, Art and Sandra Van Beek; and his great-grandparents, Ed, Cobi De Jager, Greta Boschma, Annie Van Beek, Grace Schotanus, Henry Boschma, Bill Van Beek and Ralph Schotanus. He was also cherished by his aunties, uncles and cousins.
