With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delfina Almanza Contreras of Chowchilla, California, born in Guadalupe, California, who passed away on July 25, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aguilera Contreras and Valentin Ramirez Contreras; and her brothers, Ines, Manuel, Adan, Victor and Federico Contreras.

She is survived by: her husband Jesus Almanza; her children, Jaime Contreras, Arnulfo Soto, Francisco Soto, Guadalupe Soto Flores, Jose Luis Soto, Maria Carmen Soto Nunez, Lisa Medrano Contreras and Antonio Espinoza; and her siblings, Maria Erives, Elvira Gongora, Maria De Jesus Fuentes, Guillermo Contreras and Jose Angel. She is also survived by her twenty-seven grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren and on great great granddaughter.
