He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Allen; his son Bobby Allen, Jr.; his parents, Markie Allen and Georgia Allen; and his brothers, Markie Allen, Wendell Allen and Billy Ray Allen.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Allen, Kevin Allen and Kimberly Herring (Andrew). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
