He is survived by: his siblings, Oscar Luis Rangel, Homero Rangel, Graciela Lopez, Rosa Elia Villareal and Maria Victoria Rangel; and his children, Hector E. Rangel, Jose Alfonso Rangel, Sandra Ortiz, Bea V. Garcia, Maria Dominguez, Lucy Rodriguez and Gabriela Ramirez. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
