It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hector Castañeda of Chino Hills, California, born in Moline, Kansas, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Carissa Castañeda and Jason Castañeda. He is survived by: his wife Sophie Montes; his former wife Renee Jones; and his children, Rozana Valencia, Ramona Castañeda, Gina Cervantes (David), Mia Almada, Randy Castañeda Sr. (Diane), Anthony Castañeda (Teri), Robert Castañeda (Tami), Richard Castañeda (Lorraine), Paul Castañeda and Jaime Castañeda. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
