He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Holbrook and Edward Atwood; and his aunt Dorothy Pattridge. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Atwood of Corralitos, CA; his daughters, Alicia Potes and Lynette Galindo; his brothers, John Atwood and Fred Atwood; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Elena, Elias, Aidan, Rylan and Lucas. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
