With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bula Keene of China Lake, California, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence E. Wells and Vida Gard Wells; her husband Charles L. Keene, Jr.; her grandchildren, Connie Lee and Robert Keene, Jr.; and her children, Robert Keene, Jeanne Wells, Charlotte Jockisch, Donald Keene, Barbara Garrett and Richard Keene. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Until the lockdown due to COVID, she enjoyed the daily coffee klatches and getting to know her fellow residents.
