He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William "Scotty" Bridges and Harriet Costello; his siblings, John, Dick, Tom and Ruth (Iversen); his former wife Lucy; his children, Leslie, Bob, Brenda, Laura and Brian; his wife Nora Ruth (Forrester); his grandchildren, Trevor, Savannah, Jake, Addison, Zoe, Bode and Liam; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Dean and Sam; and his granddaughter Jade.

Bill and Lillian kept each other company during the Covid "shelter-in-place" time at their retirement home.
