We bid farewell to Suzanne Marie Houchin of Chico, California, born in Sioux City, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Suzanne Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vernon Bicknell and Viva Mae Vanroekel; and her siblings, Billy Bicknell and Cathy Bicknell. She is survived by: her brothers, James Bicknell (Susan) and Steve Bicknell (Terri); her husband Emil Rory Houchin; her sons, Benjamin Houchin (Jessica Lower), Stephen Houchin, Thomas Houchin (Yukiko Miyazawa) and Joshua Houchin (Mayra Valerio); and her grandchildren, Karly Houchin, Selena Houchin, Levi Houchin and Tommy Houchin.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1450 E Lassen Ave, Chico, CA 95973). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5646 Lincoln Blvd, Oroville, CA 95966).
