It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alvin Nichols (Chico, California), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nichols and Helen Nichols; his siblings, Laverne Mungo and Joe Nichols; his niece Rosemary Loum; his nephew Phillip Mungo; and his great grandchild Mary Kay.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Hale; his children, Thomas Richard, Tom Nichols (Sheila), Therese Elford (Doug), Tracy Bryan (Scott) and Tami Van Gerpen (Matt); his grandchildren, Kyle (Cari), Kaleb (Leina), Kory, Justin, Jason, Zach, Alex and Cici; and his great grandchild Gentry.
