He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil DeMeyer and Lillian DeMeyer (Monnot); his wife Dixie DeMeyer; and his sons, Michael DeMeyer and Brian DeMeyer.
He is survived by: his former spouse Dayle Mardis; his children, Chris DeMeyer of Puyallup, WA, Dianne DeMeyer Suschil of Durham, CA, Sharon DeMeyer of Chico, Kathy Spence of Willows, Greg DeMeyer of Chico and Michelle DeMeyer; and his stepsons, Marvin Crane, Jr. and Ray. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, and a large community of friends.
