She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Matthews and Frances Matthews; her brothers, Charles Donald "Hogan" Matthews, George Benjamin "Ben" Matthews, S. Marines Corps and Pat; her spouse Madison "Matt" Spear; her sisters, Barbara Matthews and Alma Jean Matthews; her nephew George Michael Matthews; and her close friend Om Wraith.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Frances (Jack) of Paradise; her grandson Edwin Charles; her mother-in-law Jean Spear; her children, Edwin Spear (Vicki Wedegaertner) of Santa Rosa, Laura Heitkam (Patrick) of Orland and Peggy Ucciferri (Tony); her grandchildren, Claire Thompson (Eli), Madison (Kalli), Francesca Ucciferri (Bryce Brown), Charles Ucciferri (Mary) and Michael; and her nieces, Trudy Wleklinski (Mark), Leanne Hubbell (Gilbert) and Marla Ward (Patrick). She is also survived by many grandnieces and nephews; and many close friends.
