We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2021, at the age of 92, Marion Rosalie Frey (Chico, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Chapman and Bertha Chapman; her brothers, Ralph Chapman and Eugene Chapman; and her former husbands, Don Drane and Ted Fox.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sister Barbara Quiring; her children, Ray Drane (Gail) of Houston, TX, Vern Drane (Debbie) of Yreka, Mark Drane (Drena) of Chico, Jerry Fox (Kathy) of Auburn, Ted Fox, Jr. (Lani Coelho) of Los Molinos, Lester Fox of Red Bluff and Emilie Fox (Charles Runnels, Jr.) of Livermore; her grandchildren, Grey Drane, Katie Fox Schneider, Dawn Stafford (Drane), Ranae Drane, Heather Gatchet (Drane), Kristen Roe (Drane), Justin Drane, Christopher Fox, Ashley Ledbetter (Fox), Kimberly Laughlin (Drane), Ashley Drane, Jennifer Drane, Holly Drane, Connor Runnels and Anya Runnels; and also, Sandra Ellison and Alex. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
After CCH closed, she kept in touch with the close network of volunteers, and right up until COVID-19 closed restaurants and prevented gatherings, a group of the ladies dubbed "The Lunch Bunch" got together the 2nd Saturday of every month for lunch and fellowship.
