It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucretia Fay Wieking of Chico, California, born in Berkeley, California, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Giles Crandall and Lucile Crandall; her husband James Wieking; her brother Sheldon Crandall; her sister-in-law Janet; her children, Linda Catalano (Tony) and Edward Wieking; her grandchildren, Daniel James McDonald and Kinsey McDonald Gilbert (Danny Ray); and her great grandchild Marie Gilbert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakland Zoo, Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, or any other animal welfare organization or charity of your choice.
