He was predeceased by: his parent Nancy Carol Doty; and his siblings, Greg Doty and Mitzy Doty. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mae Joyner; his children, Rita Joyner, Aundrea Joyner and Lonnie Joyner Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jill Joyner; his grandson Colton Joyner; and his siblings, Jeff Joyner (Cruz Joyner), Michael Joyner, Jackie Pappacena (Gary) and Jan Brown.
