She was predeceased by: her sister Neves; her son Robert (Bob); her parents, Mary Linhares and Virginio Furtado Linhares; her siblings, Manuel, Edith (Eria), Virginia, Mary Odelia, Sally, Virginio Jr., Charles, Amelia and Adelina; her former husband Robert; and her child Shirley.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Ballinger (Carolyn) and Gregory Ballinger; and her children-in-law, Ron Cooper and Lynn Ballinger. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
