He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Norman Blagrave and Irene Hess of Virginia; his wife Kathryn Jean Blagrave; his daughter Josie Blagrave (Jamie Cochran) of Chico; his grandsons, Andrew and Fabrice; his son Roy Blagrave (Lizabeth) of Redding; his grandchildren, Sophia, Ashlyn, Kelsey and Logan; and his daughter Rachael Brady (Tim) of Ono.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his name.
