He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Wing; his children, Christa Dawson and Charlie Dawson (Amy); his grandchildren, Matthew Dawson (Laura), Jimmy Dawson, Lily and Tessa Ritchey; and his great grandchild Bella Dawson.

Donations may be made in Hal's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Shriner's Children's Hospital.
